About yourself

I'm passionate about the web and open source software. I have fond memories of Github but Codeberg seems like the kind of open source and community governed home that the FOSS movement should always have set up its shop in. I consider this currently one of the most important open source projects that helps keep the movement independent from corporate tech like Microsoft and Google.

While I have yet to migrate most of my own projects to, it would be amazing if I was able to contribute to Codeberg/Forgejo and I think it's a good match for my skillset (primarily web technologies).

I've joined the Matrix Space and I've also picked out a couple of issues (#5300, #8658) that I think could be good places for me to start, but I still need to get a development environment set up.
