About yourself

Hello, dear colleagues.

I've recently joined Codeberg, to support the project and finally get away from Github.

My projects are mostly about system development, and I also work on IT process/management efforts at my dayjob.

Some areas that specifically spark my interest at the moment:

  • IT process for community projects (like Codeberg!) - is there any interest in "process consulting"?
    • I'm gaining experience in this area, and I have some ideas on simplified processes for communities
    • Here, I would really like to have a conversation, or I could make a small talk/presentation.
  • ITSM tools for community/indie IT services (project in planning stage) - I'll gladly take a look at the Codeberg toolchain!
    • If things go well, I'll be doing this as a project of my own.
    • If this can work for Codeberg, or be engineered to work for Codeberg, I'll be glad.
  • I work with ERPs professionally. Does Codeberg need business software?
    • We could add "German association management" support to ERPnext?
    • Are there any Codeberg-specific business processes that could use an ERP?
    • Do we have some sort asset tracking/management, like Netbox or Snipe-IT?
  • I'm a very experienced programmer. Is there a list of specific projects that Codeberg needs?
  • Where can I find menial work, if I have the time? Where do I get briefings?

I hope I'm not barging in with any ideas that flame up wrong discussions.

Either way, I hope we have a good running as a code hoster.

Greetings
prom

PS

Since Codeberg started out in Berlin, some of you might know me from CCC events - but I am here on my own terms.

Greetings to @n0toose because we had some conversations.
