About yourself
Hi, I am Yeo Wen Qin (PS for the Asian name), but you can call me WQMan.
I am currently still a Software Engineering university student, but I have been working as a full-stack developer and system administrator for 3 years.
For me, I have been wanting to engage with and contribute to the FOSS community for quite some time. I encountered Codeberg a few months ago and decided to shift to it. Seeing as code repositories are one of the things I commonly use, and I do want to contribute to FOSS, I felt like contributing to Codeberg.
For system-related skill sets:
For software development skill sets:
I am fluent in English, but I can communicate in Chinese as well.
I am expecting to be able to help out for 3–8 hours a week, depending on my university schedule.
As for projects/ideas I could help out with, I am generally interested in most IT stuff. I do not mind picking up a new programming language or framework as well.

Sure, will take a look at the Chinese translations on the weekends in my free time.
For software-related projects, which ones would you recommend that are in need of help? I will probably need some time to get up to speed as well, since I am not that familiar with Go or Rust.
I'd say everything needs a bit of help, so it largely depends on what you're interested in. But the most interesting one might be Forgejo.
I personally learned Go by contributing. We're here to learn and there isn't a particular rush; you can also ask others if you are stuck with something or need help. (Our chatroom helps! :D)
